The little Horseshoe Bat, weighing only 6 to 10 grams, is one of the smallest bats in our region…
Unfortunately, this little Horseshoe Bat has a sad record of being one of the most threatened endangered mammals in Wallonia. While there were hundreds of thousands in the 1950’s, there are less than 300 today, spread across 3 colonies located in Orval, Modave and Revogne.
Through these two little booklets (see below), you can learn how to protect this little animal. And together, get to know these little horseshoe bats!
