Office hours: Office hours are planned on Tuesdays until 6pm as well as Saturdays from 9am to 12 pm.

Service

Objectives :

We are here to:
  • Reduce your heating and electricity bills and therefore your C02 emissions, which are responsible for global warming.
  • Keep you up-to-date on different techniques to save energy and to use renewable energy. We are also here to keep you up-to-date on different subsidies offered. (Isolation, replacing frames with high-efficiency double glazing, low-consumption heaters, cogeneration, solar water heaters, photovoltaic solar panels, heat pumps, low-energy houses, and new single-family constructions).
  • The “Ethical Energy” Municipality program of the City of Beauraing.
     
Other targets:
 
Public buildings
  • Development of the energy land registry (complete audit and classification) of municipal buildings.
  • Implementation of energy record-keeping.
  • Establishing an improvement plan for the energy performance of municipal buildings, especially the list of priority investments for municipal buildings.
     
New construction by private individuals
  • Monitoring the following of the K45 standard (current level of total thermal isolation) and future standards that will be fixed within the framework of the decree on the energy performance of buildings.
     
Municipal staff
  • Keeping municipal staff aware of the two former aspects and more generally of URS (rational energy use) behaviors.
     
Informing the citizen
  • Role of a front-line “information office” for residents of the municipality.
  • Don’t hesitate to regularly come to this site to get information on how to save energy without giving up comfort.
